Karahantepe is an archaeological site discovered in 1997 by the Turkish archaeologist Bahattin Celik in the Tektek Mountains region, dating back to the period between 9500-9000 BC, covering an area of 325,000 square meters, and consisting of a number of stone T columns and inscriptions prominent, and there is also a group of polished rock statues of wild animals such as goats, deer and rabbits.
