Limassol Castle, located near the old port and city center, has medieval origins. It was built in 1590 AD. It is one of the famous historical attractions in Cyprus. It has been converted into a museum that includes ancient artifacts and war pieces. It is worth noting that the wedding of King Richard the Lionheart and Princess Berengella of Navarre took place there.
