MAH - Angra do Heroismo Museum

The Angra do Heroísmo Museum is housed in a former Franciscan convent from the 17th century, where you can find a collection of automobiles, ceramics, weapons, medals, coins, navigational instruments, sculptures, paintings, furniture, ceramics and many other interesting historical pieces. In addition to the museum, the abbey also houses the Church of St. Francis, a beautiful example of 18th-century religious architecture, characterized by exquisite woodwork and adorned with statues, carvings and tile panels.
