Description of the place
The Misericordia Church appears in some plans of the Cathedral of Braga as a secondary annex, but in fact it constitutes a distinguished historical monument. It was built in 1562, but was much modified during the eighteenth century. Inside, the Baroque carved altar and painted wooden ceiling covering are noteworthy.
