Description of the place
It is a nunnery (female monastery) dating back to the eighteenth century. It is located on a hill near the town of Ano Mera in one of the greenest areas of Mykonos. It has a particularly interesting architecture and inside it is decorated with exquisite icons. The 3-meter-high granite slab protruding from the ground next to the monastery is believed to be an ancient symbol of the cult.
