Description of the place
The State Railways Museum and Art Gallery was designed and constructed according to Ataturk's instructions to "build hotels for major stations" in 1924 AD, by one of the city's distinguished railway engineers. It is a two-storey stone building, in which railway cars, train tracks and wagons are displayed, and visitors can take a tour inside the captain's trailer.
