Sant'Agostino Church
Roman Catholic church located at the northern end of the old town in San Gimignano, near the San Matteo Gate. It is a historic church built between 1280 and 1298 in the Gothic style. It was built of red brick paved. It has a unique interior design, as its walls cover a collection of paintings and drawings. Miscellaneous art dating back to the fifteenth century, these paintings relate to St. Augustine and were painted by Benozzo Gozzoli between 1463 and 1467.
