Semmarin Medina Gate
The Samarin Gate, which dates back to the middle of the thirteenth century AD, is considered one of the famous historical city gates of Fez, separating the mellah, which is the oldest Jewish quarter in Morocco, from the vibrant and commercial new alley of Fez. The most important feature of this fortified gate is its Andalusian design and vaulted ceiling.
