Located next to Deoksu Palace, Seoul Anglican Cathedral was built during the Japanese colonial era and was built under the supervision of Reverend Mark Trollope; The third bishop of the Anglican Church in Korea, according to the designs of the British architect Arthur Dixon, and although the construction was completed in 1926, the Korean Anglican Church considers 1890 the official date for the founding of the cathedral, as this was the year in which the first service of the Eucharist was held .
