St. Anne's Church
This ancient church was built in 1138 AD by the Crusaders in the city of Jerusalem, and it is believed that the Virgin Mary was born in this place. The church has an ancient stone design and an impressive acoustic system which is an exceptional example of the medieval style of architecture. The three-aisled basilica has cross ceilings and columns, fairly unadorned interior lines, and the lower side aisles are separated by arcades of arches. Wherever you look in this church, you will find history and ancient archaeological remains that surround the place from every angle.
