St. Erhard's Church
St. Erhard's Church is one of the oldest Romanesque buildings in Salzburg, and was initially built as a hospital church. In 1689, a new building was erected according to plans by the young architect Giovanni Gaspare Zugalli on the site of the former church. St. Erhard's became a parish church in 1853 and, due to the consistency of its Italian Baroque style, is today one of the most iconic sacred buildings in Salzburg.
