The Natural History Museum of Crete

The Museum of Natural History of Crete, the largest exhibition of its kind in the Mediterranean, operates under the auspices of the University of Crete. Its aim is to study, protect and promote the diverse flora and fauna of the eastern Mediterranean region with a particular focus on Greece and Crete, presenting the natural environment in an impressive way. It includes five departments: zoology, botany, anthropology, geology and mineralogy.
