Description of the place
St. Agatha's Tower, also known as the Red Tower, is a huge fortified watchtower in the heart of Mleiha City. It is one of the most important historical monuments in the city, as it was built between 1647 and 1649. The landmark consists of a square-shaped structure and 4 towers on each corner of the square. The tower is located on a high peak at the northern end of the city, and from above it is possible to obtain majestic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the port.
