The Royal Castle Muzeum poland
The castle was built by the Polish King Casmir the Great probably in the years 1357-1365. It is one of the typical architectural designs of Kazimierz. He occupied the southeastern part of the city and the castle hosted three Polish kings: Wladyslaw, Kazimierz, and Zygmunt. Jailo stayed here 36 times. The reason for the frequent royal visits were state (most often court) cases, wars with the Teutonic Order and general conferences. And in the summer of 1409 the castle twice hosted the Polish monarch.
