Unhyeongung

Yeonhyun Palace is one of the smaller palaces in Seoul. It is an important historical site open to the public. It was once the private residence of Emperor Gojong's father, and Gojong lived there before assuming the throne and held his wedding there. An annual reenactment takes place here in the palace. for the royal wedding between Emperor Gojong and Empress Myeongseong, and today visitors can see what has been preserved from the palace and take part in traditional cultural activities and craft experiences.
