Description of the place
Wat Tang Sai is a magnificent temple built in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's reign. It contains 9 pagodas to represent His Majesty King Rama IX. His statue can be seen sitting on top of Tung Chai mountain overlooking Ban Beach. Grodd. The temple complex also contains some beautiful gardens, a large golden Buddha statue, and some demonic statues that do not represent evil as in the Western world, but rather good forces that act as guards.
