Yason Kilisesi

Jason Church is located in the natural and archaeological area of Ras Jason on the border of Çaytepe village in Perşembe province, on a small peninsula facing the sea. This area is currently a protected area by the government Environment Authority, classified as Grade II. The church still stands here, with the ruins of its garden wall. Parts of these ruins can be found all over the sea coast. The ancient harbors and fish ponds can also be seen today. It was built by the Georgians and some Greeks who used to live in the area.
