Description of the place
The Zion Church, which dates back to 1695, is the oldest church still standing in Jakarta. It was built during the Dutch colonial era. It has impressive architecture that attracts people in large numbers all year round. It was built to cater to the minorities commonly referred to as the “Black Portuguese.” who were being oppressed at that time.
