One of the historical mosques in the city of Nablus, which is located to the west of the Old City, in the Kasbah neighborhood in particular. It was previously called the Western Mosque, and since the seventeenth century it has been called the Hanbali Mosque. This mosque is characterized by its historical, archaeological stone construction with internal arches and a vaulted ceiling, while it is distinguished from the outside by a simple traditional building of stone with a prominent green dome. This mosque is frequented by a large number of worshipers and visitors, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
