Aqueduct to Acre
Aqueduct to Acre
They are water channels called "Al-Kabri Canal" that used to pass from Acre to the village of Al-Bassa, with a length of 13 km. They are Roman arched arches built of stone, as their arched shape is what allows water to flow from the pre-calculated rate. Specific places as well, so the water level does not rise above the required rate, and the traces of these barrages remain until the present time and are visited by tourists as a historical archaeological site to learn about the Roman building system at that time.
