Description of the place
The Ayanapa Cathedral, located in the city of Limassol, was built between the late nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, on the ruins of an old Byzantine church, and it is one of the shrines of religious value and historical importance. It also enjoys its ancient arcades, its marble icon, its beautiful wall paintings, and its exquisite architectural design.
