Chiesa di San Costanzo
Chiesa di San Costanzo
It is a huge Catholic church on the island of Capri, originally the cathedral of the Diocese of Capri in the period 987-1560, and it is a church dedicated to Saint Costanzo. It is distinguished by its simple architecture built in the Arab style, as the church has a modest white facade dating back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when the porch was demolished to provide stone for the construction of the priest's house. The church building consists of four small pointed domes supported by four arches and twelve columns.
