FAI Tower and Casa Campatelli
FAI Tower and Casa Campatelli
One of the 72 ancient towers that made San Gimignano famous in Italy, of which only 14 remain today. It is the only tower that has preserved its original size and external appearance as it is throughout the ages. It was built in the middle of the twelfth century, and its height is about 28 meters. The tower has been integrated with a historic mansion from the eighteenth century that belonged to a wealthy family from Tuscany, and the palace evokes the life of the Tuscan middle class in Italy in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the site attracts visitors to it as it illustrates the period that combined tradition and modernity in Italy.
