Description of the place
Al-Marneef Cave is located in the small Shatt region, about 40 km from Salalah in the city of Dhofar, overlooking the Arabian Sea. As sea levels rise and water currents become more active, running water rushes through the rock cavities, causing the geyser to increase in flow. In addition to the sound of flowing water that gives the place its own unique atmosphere, the cave has been equipped for visitors and a protective fence has been installed on the side overlooking the sea, in addition to benches, passages and bridges.
