Ouzo Museum: The World of Ouzo

The Ozu World Museum takes its visitors on a journey to get to know Ozu, which is the most famous Greek local drink, an anise-flavored alcoholic beverage that Greece exports to many countries around the world. Visitors can see the old distillation machines right through to the latest technology that is used today in the production of ouzo. Anise seeds come from all over Greece and water from the nearby river is used in the production process.
