San Roque Plaza
San Roque Square is a small open area located in front of the San Roque Temple in the historic center of Guanajuato, Mexico. The square is so important in the city that it is the venue for the Intrepsis Cervantinos Festival, and the square was chosen by director Enrique Roylas to host an open-air play in 1952, which was successful enough to become an annual tradition before being replaced by the larger festival. in 1972.
